Simulation of phasor measurement units (PMUs) in a microgrid using GTNET and stream the measurements to a server for real-time processing. A Kalman filter–based dynamic state estimator is implemented to track generator rotor angle (δ) and speed (ω) online. The estimated states are used to monitor inter-area and intra-area oscillatory modes and evaluate system stability under both grid-connected and islanded operating conditions.
